rossevansgames - Version 1.0

I published the very first edition of my website before my release of Jump and Shoot on the app store. There were a couple of reasons why - for one I remember Apple wanted a privacy policy and TOS page even just for simple games, and I do not think they would appreciate me just sending them a pastebin link. Another was that I wanted to send the game out to reviewers for the first time and I needed somewhere to host a press kit. In the end the game was only reviewed by one individual (a very generous review by George Fagundes) but my website remained up nonetheless. At the time, rossevansgames.com was a fitting name. Now of course I no longer own the domain since I no longer do much game development.

You can view the old version of the website here

In retrospect, I may have gotten carried away with the CSS animations. There is a quaint sentence on the about page:

I’m currently 15, my main hobby is game development as found here on this website. I started programming when I was 12, and never got tired of making my own stuff.

It now seems funny to claim that I “never got tired of making my own stuff” when I had only kept the hobby up for a couple of years. But to be fair to my 15 year old self, three years was a fifth of my life!
