rossevansgames - Version 2.0

I redesigned my website for the second time during the summer between grade 10 and grade 11. I had spent some time on the subreddit /r/webdev and was inspired by a lot of the projects on there.

In my previous edition I got carried away with CSS animations. This time I got carried away with iframes and javascript. Rather than having a sensible layout I thought it would be cool if it was a “Single Page Application”, where each project would be loaded through iframes and significant use of display: none. I can only imagine the number of errors that would be flagged if one ran the website through an accessibility checking tool.

For all the websites faults, I still think the panorama of game screenshots in the background is pretty cool.

After completing my website, I proudly showed it to my friend Sam. He then informed me about responsive design. I thought: “who uses their phone to look at websites?” How wrong I was.
